It has been a few weeks since I have posted the last time. I went back to South Dakota for a few weeks to see the family over Christmas. I will continue blogging at least once a week again! Before I left I put in many hours on my frame and progress is starting to show. The objective here is to recreate what looks like a stock Harley Davidson factory forging. But of course do it all myself with a custom neck and neck angle, goose-necked, and of course converting it to a single down tube. I also made a tasteful looking gusset to add a little spice to allow the down-tube, backbone, and country bar, to flow together more smoothly. You can see how I doubled sleeved the tubes to replicate a HD forging. Next time I post you will see how it looks when it is finished. I will be running about 100 rods worth of weld all over it and then smoothing it all together ;)
